Adding it to the diary ... but 10 a.m. at a none-rail on a Sunday morning would be a challenge for most of us on the Coffee Shop.

I hope it went well.

I used to have one piece of woodwork from the decayed footpath gate from the station manager's house to the platform (collected many years ago), but my daughter told me to get rid of it as it was probably impregnated with lead paint.

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.
