This smells very strongly of fish. But do check with GWR (Great Western Railway) to confirm this! You can usually get a quick response on X via @GWRhelp

Over strong smell I'm afraid. Do NOT click on the link or better, even leave that link alone in the 1st post.

GWR (Great Western Railway) are regularly advising people on social media not to fall for these £3 travel for a year travel cards adverts. Many reply to say they report them but they don’t get taken down.

A little bit of personal responsibility does help. If you think rail companies/government can give a years travel for just £3, you might need to give you head a bit of a wobble.

I had a post pop up on Facebook with the £3 card offer which I immediately reported as a scam but FB said it was ok!
So just remember "if it seems too good to be true, it probably (most certainly) is"

Almost laughably bad (grammar, terminology, the survey itself, the fake comments and then the change in price to £2.50 - I couldn't resist a cautious look!), but I presume that's at least partly to filter out people less likely to be taken in.

Given FB are now abandoning their fact checking, that doesn’t surprise me.
