And the preceding service:

It will no longer call at London Paddington, Reading, Didcot Parkway, Oxford, Hanborough, Charlbury, Kingham, Moreton-In-Marsh, Honeybourne, Evesham, Pershore and Worcestershire Parkway Hl.
This is due to a fault with the signalling system.

And after those two cancellations as far as services from London/Oxford to the Cotswolds are concerned:

GWR▸ (Great Western Railway) Ticket acceptance with West Midlands Railway on th 21.28 Great Malvern to Birmingham New Street service. Change for the Avanti 22.56 Birmingham New Street to London Euston.

21:46 London Paddington to Worcester Shrub Hill due 00:01 will be terminated at Oxford.
This is due to a shortage of train crew.
Further Information
Customers are requested to check the stations Onward Travel Information poster and wait for replacement road transport at the designated stop. Customers are advised that the replacement road transport may run later than the advertised train times owing to the additional time taken by road between stations and the time required for loading and unloading at each stop.
Rail replacement transport has been requested to run from Oxford to Worcester Shrubb Hill . T.B.C

Some of last night's cancellations have consequences for this morning's trains:

1P11 0516 Worcester Shrub Hill to Paddington
RTT» (Real Time Trains - website) :

Tuesday January 7 was a good day, with only two short workings.

2E14 1704 Didcot Parkway to Evesham ran late, arriving +19.
Behind it, 1W33 16:58 London Paddington to Great Malvern (19:25) arrived Worcester Shrub Hill +24 and "was cancelled between Worcester Shrub Hill and Great Malvern due to late arrival of an inbound service (YI)".
1P44 19:45 Great Malvern to London Paddington was started from Shrub Hill.

And in the evening, RTT» (Real Time Trains - website) reports

1W41 20:52 London Paddington to Great Malvern (23:13) arrived Shrub Hill +19 and "was cancelled between Worcester Shrub Hill and Great Malvern due to the train operator's request (TB)."

1W43 21:53 London Paddington to Worcester Shrub Hill (00:01) "was cancelled due to an issue with the train crew (TH)."

1W13 06:50 London Paddington to Great Malvern (09:29) arrived Worcester Shrub Hill +9.
RTT» (Real Time Trains - website) : This service was cancelled between Worcester Shrub Hill and Great Malvern due to a problem with the train (M8).

1P24 10:16 Great Malvern to London Paddington was started from Shrub Hill.
