I had an opportunity as part of the Melksham Environment Group to meet and brief our MP▸ (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post - a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London, depending on context) yesterday on public transport issues in the constituency.  Briefing paper at https://www.greatwesternrailway.info/mirror/constbrtief.pdf
