Other than that  Cool I thought it was an excellent programme - I certainly learned stuff I didn't know.

Mods - You might amend the thread's subject - it's a series of 6 - "Abandoned Railways from above" - and I think I heard the announcement that next week's programme is around Oxford.

William Huskisson MP▸ (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post - a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London, depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.

For an episode titled "Somerset" it was a little saddening that a large section of the line through the county and several stations were not featured at all.

I also noted in the 'Somerset' episode that they spelled one place name wrong on the progress map.
