09:59 Cheltenham Spa to London Paddington due 11:54

Facilities on the 09:59 Cheltenham Spa to London Paddington due 11:54.
This train will run in reverse formation throughout. First class located at rear.

As journey check flagging goes, this is a very minor matter indeed ... but the award and pedantic part of me asks if that's first class in the rear from Cheltenham Spa, or in the rear from Gloucester where the train reverses.

... or maybe the train runs with the rear at the front as far as Gloucester?

I presume the set started its journey at Paddington  and "in reverse formation"?

The 05:23am from Paddington to Swansea(M-F)was always booked to be in reverse formation from London to BTM (Bristol Temple Meads (strictly, it should be BRI)).

As the train reverses at BTM,it then is in correct formation for the rest of the day
