11 can't be Bath! There's no Japanese people with enormous cameras in the photo!

3 is NOT Cheltenham. Actually I'm surprised at the problem that one is causing.  1 is still open and we have established it is Wiltshire, but NOT Corsham, nor Avoncliff / Bradford on Avon.

The Bath thing - when I put it up I was thinking "Temple Meads" as I took it beween a picture that was clearly BTM (Bristol Temple Meads (strictly, it should be BRI)) and a picture of the bus station in Bath, and I recall a crush to get on the 158.   But when you said "Bath" I suddently had this memory that - yes - perhaps I did take the picture looking back at the tran befor I went down the stairs.

You're correct, which is probably why you think that  Grin   Well done!

Just 1 to go ... and I'm turning in for the night soon. Anyone know it?  I thought it was one of the easier ones, but then I suppose it's taken from a Wiltshire Road very close to one of our minor tourist attarctions that I find myself taking people to from time to time.

Pewsey?

Yes - or rather that's the next station west from this point.  The picture was taken at Crofton on the Berks and Hants line, between Bedwyn and Pewsey.  This is the point where the 125s slow down to go around quite a sharp corner.

On the left, you can make out the Crofton Pumping House which lift water from Wilton Reservoir justy to the right of the canal (which you can see in the picture) up to a leat along which it runs to the summit level.  The steam engines there are (?) the oldest in working order anywhere in the world (?).

So that's all six "Odd ones" identified.    There remain three "even ones"  - 2, 4 and 6 at:
http://www.firstgreatwestern.info/coffeeshop/index.php?topic=2864.0
for you to guess this morning.

No 3 Weston-Super-Mare.

Like Chris from Nailsea pointed out on his comment

Re: British Summer Time - so why are all the lights still on?

All I'll say is at WSM,

"the lights are on but there's nobody home"

Who pays for that wasted ENERGY?
