Delays to services between Charlbury and Oxford
Due to a points failure between Charlbury and Oxford the line towards Oxford is blocked.
Train services running through these stations may be delayed. Disruption is expected until 18:00 25/06.

Looking at Oxford departures, the 16.45, 17.23, 17.46 and 18.25 were all cancelled, with the 18.53 running about 15 minutes late. I ended up driving to Peartree P&R^▸ (Park and Ride) to pick Mrs F and Junior up.

This morning, the 0643 from Shrub Hill appears not to have left yet and is showing on the live departure boards as running an hour late.

For services beyond Moreton-in-Marsh, it was the very delayed 15:52 PAD:GMV which departed Oxford 101 minutes late at 18:26.

The delays over the recent weeks have been for numerous reasons: for the ordinary passenger, the reasons don't matter - all they want is a service they can rely on and they are not getting that at the moment.
