RTT» (Real Time Trains - website) reports that
1W03 16:52 London Paddington to Hereford departed Paddinton 20 late.
16 late at Oxford, 19 late at Charlbury, but arrived Shrub Hill 35 late and was cancelled thereafter due to a problem with the traction equipment (MD).

JourneyCheck reports that

Meanwhile, be aware of the following late-evening changes this week, listed on JourneyCheck under 'Improvement works':

Between London Paddington/Reading/Didcot Parkway and Oxford/Worcester Shrub Hill via Moreton-In-Marsh and Evesham
Planned engineering work will take place between London Paddington/Reading/Didcot Parkway and Oxford/Worcester Shrub Hill via Moreton-In-Marsh and Evesham on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 21:45, Monday 27 May 2024 to 03:00, Friday 31 May 2024.
Some lines will be blocked.

Additional Information
The following alterations will take place to late evening services on the North Cotswolds route:

* The 2153 London Paddington to Worcester Shrub Hill will call additionally at Didcot Parkway at 2230, then be diverted and run non-stop to Worcester Shrub Hill at 0002. A connecting rail service will run from Didcot Parkway at 2239 to Oxford at 2256. A replacement bus will run from Oxford at 2308 to Hanborough 2333, Charlbury 2353, Shipton 0012, Kingham 0025, Moreton-in-Marsh 0047, Honeybourne 0112, Evesham 0137, Pershore 0152, Worcestershire Parkway 0204 and Worcester Shrub Hill 0222.

*The 2251 London Paddington to Worcestershire Parkway will terminate at Oxford at 0001. A replacement bus will run from Oxford at 0008 to Hanborough 0033, Charlbury 0053, Kingham 0116, Moreton-in-Marsh 0138, Honeybourne 0203, Evesham 0228, Pershore 0243 and Worcestershire Parkway 0255.

* The 2200 Hereford to London Paddington will terminate at Worcester Shrub Hill at 2251. A replacement bus will run non-stop from Worcester Shrub Hill at 2259 to Oxford at 0029, connecting into an 0036 Oxford to London Paddington, calling at Didcot Parkway 0047, Reading 0104, Slough 0118 and London Paddington 0138. A separate replacement bus will also run from Worcester Shrub Hill at 2259 to Worcestershire Parkway 2312, Pershore 2324, Evesham 2344, Honeybourne 0004, Moreton-in-Marsh 0034, Kingham 0059, Charlbury 0119, Hanborough 0144 and Oxford 0214. There will be NO onward connection to London Paddington out of this bus.
