I'm relieved to see a wall at the foot of the picture between (presumably) yourself and the front of the DMU (Diesel Multiple Unit).....it would never do to have dead rather than red squirrel on the line!

I'm clueless as to the location though.

That's Norman's named unit so Henley by any chance ?...

Wikipedia says that "Unit 166204 was named in honour of Twyford station master Norman Topsom MBE who retired in November 2015" so I'm guessing that it's a Thames Valley station with a bay platform.

166204 is shown on RTT» (Real Time Trains - website) as running 2U22 yesterday, 1149 from PNZ to CDF» (Cardiff - next trains). The same service is also shown operated by 802004. I've also had 166204 but only from BRI» (Bristol Temple Meads - next trains).  Which you get depends on what page you were one beforehand. Evidently something odd to do with parallel universes is going on here.
