8: I think that's the (ex?) Stourbridge cat - so Stourbridge Junction?

I'm having problems - there's no numbers appearing and when I refresh I get a different set of pictures, still with no numbers.

But I do recognise Glasgow Central in there.

Oops - I will add numbers.  My omission.  And, yes, Glasgow Central is the wet one!

Correct ...
7 Holt - ellendune
4 New Orleans - Oxonhutch
3 Glasgow Central - Worcester_Passenger

The cat - no, not Stourbridge. May become clearer as the clues sort out.

1. is Hamburg - which is easy, as it advertises itself as service U3 of the Hochbahn. The location is sneakier, as the image has been cropped so it's not clear it's half-indoors (under a building) - on Mönkedamm, where the westbound U-bahn comes up from the tunnel under the Rathaus.

Ah, that brings back fond memories of watching the trains go past along there.  The destination board says "Wandsbek" a district where my German grandparents lived. Grandfather and uncle were both Pastors there.

I would guess that 2 is somewhere in Ireland, but no idea where (I've never travelled on an Irish train).
