until anti HS2▸ (The next High Speed line(s)) campaigner Proff Paul Saleveson who was on Sky news talking about HS2,

the "group" is basicly trying to improve rail and train services in the North of England

Never heard of them before,and I was unable to "sign up" to obtain further info.

They are at https://railreformgroup.org.uk . Paul has many years experience and writes with a great deal of sense, some of forward thinking to the extent that it pushes the current bounds of comfort.  Note that I am not referring to the Sky interview (which I have not seen) nor to anything HS2.
