True it doesn’t, but by posting it on their social media feed, doesn’t it imply that GWR (Great Western Railway) still provides services to Brighton, particularly to those who aren’t necessarily up to speed with rail related items?

The wording 'our service waiting' strongly implies it is a current service run by GWR (Great Western Railway). If it was a photo from the past, it should have said 'our service which was waiting' or something similar. Anybody reading it would assume GWR currently run services to Brighton.

TOC (Train Operating Company) Twitter operators are not to be trusted. Just another example of how poor their knowledge can be. Probably safer though than guessing about fares or route restrictions, and people being given information that revenue staff don’t accept later in the journey…

The Twitter caption implies the service is current but definitely does not state it. This thread title also implies GWR (Great Western Railway) are considering running services to Brighton again, but doesn't state it.
