Melksham Station - Tuesday 25th April 2023, Wednesday 26th April and Thursday 27th April, the railway line through Melksham will be CLOSED for essential engineering works. A rail replacement bus service will leave as follows:

To Chippenham at 05:45, 07:23, 08:23, 10:19, 12:50, 14:50, 16:56, 19:02 and 20:39
Return journeys from Chippenham 20 minutes BEFFORE buses leave Melksham for Trowbridge

To Trowbridge and Westbury at 07:00, 08:50, 10:20, 11:41, 13:50, 15:50, 18:12, 19:45 and 21:40.
Return journeys from Westbury 33 minutes BEFORE buses leave Melksham for Chippenham, and from Trowbridge 15 minutes BEFORE buses leave Melksham for Chippenham.

Rail Replacement buses run from the bus stop on station approach in Melksham, from the rail replacement bus stop just outside the Westbury bound platform at Trowbridge, from Station Approach at Westbury, and from the south side forecourt at Chippenham. Passengers who would normally take the train to Swindon should take the bus to Chippenham and change there onto a London express.  Passengers from Swindon may need to leave earlier to connect into a bus at Chippenham.

Trains should run to thier normal timetable on Monday 24th April and Friday 28th April - see http://www.mtug.org.uk/summer2023.html for regular train information.
