They don't. The HST (High Speed Train (Inter City class 43 125 units)) is a cover for their Mallard refresh programme.

Its a NXEC (National Express East Coast) HST (High Speed Train (Inter City class 43 125 units))

Really? I thought that Hull Trains' Vomiter clones where going to go to EMT» (East Midlands Trains - about) to join the rest of the Vomiter clones (this would free up an HST for FGW (First Great Western) etc.). Must be old news.

So where will NXEC get extra rolling stock?
NXEC are getting 180's instead of 90's and MK3's for extra services.

And why do you call Class 222's Vomiter Clones, more like Vomiter MK2, they are a lot better than 220/221's as improvments were made based on the flaws in 220/221's.

The current intention is for (I think there are 14 180s...) for 101-110 to go to NXEC (National Express East Coast) and 111-114 to go to Hull Trains....

Yes, the Meridians are much better, except they ordered too much First Class! Roll Eyes

I wouldn't complain, you could sit in more comfy seats for free.

Fine by me...

But I think it caused overcrowding as there were not enough second class seats!
