7. Penzance.  At first I thought Bristol, then I saw the sign for the ferry to the Scillies and I don't think that ship gets as far as the Avon.

Yes, the arch is very reminiscent of the Old Station at Temple Meads. Except it doesn’t have moss and ferns growing out of it!

I did think about a sarcastic "the one in Cornwall" response, but if we are looking at the nearest station it must be "Docks" not "Town" - as it looks like the flats around there.

Six down all correct, four to go.  Yes, Falmouth Cornwall and not Falmouth Massachusetts which (I presume) is where the Williams and Smiths from Cornwall landed as they sailed west.  Yes, those are the most common Cornish surnames

Looks like 8 must be somewhere on your Irish travels, but I'll leave it to the knowledgeable to identify the precise location.

I think I was with grahame when he took No.0. Does that mean I can't answer that one?

24 hours is up, so it's open house.   I think you were almost with me but not quite - just behind the wall pressing the "flesh" of a TVM (Ticket Vending Machine)?

No. 8, sorry, is not Limerick Junction
