IET^▸ (Intercity Express Train) on the Berks & Hants developed a fault east of Pewsey and had to proceed at 10 miles an hour to Newbury - taking two hours to do it.

If you are travelling to Melksham you should change at Chippenham and speak to station staff.

If you are at Melksham we will provide road transport to Trowbridge and Westbury from the station car park.

The axle counters failed at Thingley Junction.  However they have been repaired and reset in time for the 16:25 to run booked route and serve Melksham.
