Odd one out - which and why? (and there may be multiple correct answers!)

Please tackle just one question each (at least at first)

1.
Paddington Bear
Kindertransport
Winston Churchill
John Betjamin
1 - Winston Churchill - not commemorated by a memorial at a London terminus station eightonedee

2.
Colyton
Summerwood Lane
Summerseat
The Squirrel
2 - Summerseat is a station on the East Lancs Railway (others are tram stops) - ellendune

3.
Ashford International to Paris
Brigg to Cleethorpes
Trowbridge to Waterloo
Bristol Temple Meads to Manchester Picadilly
( 3 - Ashford International - Paris is the only one that you require a Passport to use the service, also the only service where the train is timetabled to exceed 126mph Electric Train )
( 3 - Bristol T M to Manchester Picc.  The only one to have a through service at present - bradshaw )
3 - Other 3 services apart from the Trowbridge to Waterloo service indicated their closures are temporary Froome

Newquay
Helston
Looe
4 - Ilfracombe is in Devon, the others are in Cornwall. Merthyr Imp
But there is another answer I am looking for!
( 4 - Ilfracombe is LSWR (London South Western Railway), the others GWR (Great Western Railway) PhilWakely )
( 4 - Looe never had a through service from London AMLAG )
4 - Helston is not seaside, others are AMLAG

5 - Countisbury, Porlock, and Lynmouth are towns or villages on the A39. "Quantock" isn't - quite - such a place, though West Quantoxhead is. stuving

On the right lines - but not quite - in both cases. Trowbridge to Waterloo IS the odd one out ... but the reason is subtly different. And for question 9, you are on the right lines (or should I say "road") with bus companies.

On the right lines - but not quite - in both cases. Trowbridge to Waterloo IS the odd one out ... but the reason is subtly different. And for question 9, you are on the right lines (or should I say "road") with bus companies.

Trowbridge to Waterloo stopped in December 2021.

Did the other 3 stop having through services at the start of the pandemic, i.e. 2020?

Still almost  there with the Trowbridge - Waterloo and why that's (sadly) different to the other three there.

Yep!

I'll give you that - my thought is that Countisbury, Porlock, and Lynmouth and all hills on the road, whereas the Quantocks are a range of hills.
