From Chris Watts on Facebook yesterday (((here)))

Quote
Pubic transport musing on this Saturday  morning .

Those operating public transport , especially buses which don’t have the added control of fixed rails , too easily forget how daunting it is for a newcomer ( and often not so new ) to unravel the complexities of the network , stops , timetables , fares , rules and regulations before stepping into the confusing maze the experts have created .

They must look again at how they create information and it’s clarity and accuracy , and strive to make public transport really easy to use . Some do it well , I use Warsaw public transport a lot and they really make a great job at this , others either don’t bother , or believe passengers love complex puzzles .

This is a poll asking for your PERSONAL view of the current system, also giving you the option of disagreeing with Chris if you wish.

If I may be so bold, you could add another option

"Would like to see the system simplified in order that I can easily and confidently obtain the cheapest fare for my journey"

- that might also encourage a few people back to the railways too.

I have added that option - thank you for the suggestion.  I normally resist changing running polls, but that change is so early and so important that the desirability of having the option trumps my concerns.
