The weekend after next, a busy Saturday. I'm hoping to meet a fiend from
FoSBR» at Yatton, carry on to Bridgwater to attend the update from Go-op at Railfuture then back to Melksham to see some Carpenters (or people pretending to be them). So I thought I would check my train times on the
GWR▸ web site.

Which really makes planning for such a joined up journey set over 10 days ahead. Oh for a timetable that's in place for months ahead, or even engineering changes 12 weeks ahead. I'm writing on 24th Feb, and the advice above is "we don't know what will be running on 27th" ... looking forward to being back to much better notice, but that's assuming that we DO get back to better notice, rather than the indusrty deciding that 72 hours is sufficient - it might be for them, but not for many of their customers.
