From FGW (First Great Western) site:

The line between Didcot Parkway and Oxford is closed. The latest estimate for the line to be given back is 0800.

Passengers wishing to travel are advised to delay their journeys until later in the day. At present we are unable to guarantee replacement road transport between Oxford and Didcot Parkway. Chiltern Railways are accepting tickets between Banbury and London Marylebone.

This train will be started from Didcot Parkway.It will no longer call at: Oxford and Radley.This is due to over-running engineering works.

05:22 London Paddington to Oxford due 06:21
This train will be terminated at Didcot Parkway.It will no longer call at: Oxford.This is due to over-running engineering works.

05:30 Great Malvern to London Paddington due 07:58
This train will be diverted.It will no longer call at: Evesham, Honeybourne, Moreton-In-Marsh, Kingham, Charlbury, Hanborough and Oxford.This is due to over-running engineering works.

The last fast commuter train from Twyford and Maidenhead to Paddington (9.02 at Maidenhead) ran fast from Didcot Parkway to London because of these delays... This meant it arrived on time.. but most of the passengers didn't...
