I had the wrong country for number 5 after all! I may make it to number 22 next year, as I believe a further wedding in the family is being planned. My niece this time, the one with the cautionary tale on 999 - What's Your Emergency? about Blackpool. I shall stay at a different hotel.

Thanks for a bit of fun on Christmas Eve identifying these places, and to anyone around on Chrismas day (70 members) and Boxing Day (86 members) to vote.

Top two destinations for 2022 - with half the voters fancying both of them:
Pwllheli
Portishead
Third place to
Poole

With 4 votes each: Penrhyndeudraeth, Paddington, Porlock Weir, Penryn
With 3 votes each: Portree, Plockton, Plym Bridge

I really fancy a visit to the Cambrian line to Pwllheli ... (sure, I voted that way) and don't be surprised to find pictures from there in the next year, almost certainly pre-alerted with an invite to meet up / join me there. It's a lovely trip and lets us take in Penhelig, Penrhyndeudraeth and Porthmadog along the way.
