Hi all, I am a Service Delivery Assistant for FGW (First Great Western) in the South-West.  I have been lurking for a few months with interest, so now have braved to register and post!  Grin

Needless to say that any posts I make are that of my own opinion, and may not be that of FGW.

I look forward to contributing more and helping anyone where I can!  Smiley

Any opinions made on this forum are purely personal and my own.  I am in no way speaking for, or offering the views of First Great Western or First Group.

If my employer feels I have broken any aspect of the Social Media Policy, please PM me immediately, so I can rectify without delay.

I do love the fact that I see this such a lot - shame that it has come to this nowadays in order to protect yourself.

Hi, SDA!

You are very welcome to the Coffee Shop forum, and your 'own' opinions will be welcome!

I do sympathise, as a 'passenger' member here: sometimes my opinions are probably not those of FGW (First Great Western) either  Roll Eyes Grin

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post - a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London, depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.

I've never got the SDA title.

Surely a driver/guard/ticket seller is delivering a service Wink

You can find out more about how this forum works [here] - that will link you to a copy of the forum agreement that you can read before you join, and tell you very much more about how we operate. We are an independent forum, provided and run by customers of Great Western Railway, for customers of Great Western Railway and we welcome railway professionals as members too, in either a personal or official capacity.
