1)Made  a trip to Wolverhampton on Sunday 14 november
Very difficult to get to and from Wolverhampton to/from Birmingham due
what was called a leaf cleaning train had derailed and had struck a over head stantion bringing down the wires.
All over head wired trains were NOT calling at Wolverhampton, a local hourly service was operating
On my arrival at Wolverhampton everything was cancelled so I took a chance on taking the X8,never again on that one hour journey across the west Midlands
As the the trams had been suspended so I had no option.

2)Tickets gates have now been installed at the station approx five weeks ago

I think that leaves just Sheffield as the largest station in England that does not have ticket gates.

The revamped station was reopened on 28th June 2021. I believe that is when the ticket barriers went live.
