A post on Facebook recently suggested that to simplify the rules, the Government was going to drop the traffic light system and ban travel to all country that did not vote for us in the recent Eurovision Song Contest  Roll Eyes Grin. Probably no crazier than some of the recent ideas that have come from Whitehall.

It all makes sense now: they deliberately sent an act that nobody was ever going to put in their top 10 to galvanise public opinion for a planned ban on summer travel to/from Europe, Russia, Australia, Cyprus & Israel. Very clever.
