My Sister-in-law, who live next door to Union Station in Los Angeles, popped over there yesterday to see the celebrations for Th Oscars, which are being split between two venues to keep the crowds down.

What UK (United Kingdom) events would members split, and to which station?

Well, off the top of my head, Glastonbury festival could be held at Bristol old train shed, and Bath green park, and at Worthy farm, for those who wish to wallow arroud in the mud.
Swindon may have some space in the old works area still or didcot steam sheds.
May be somwhere in Mersyside for the John Peel stage.

The old joke about the tourist who walked into St Pancras Station and asked about the time of the next service ... and who was surprised at the long list because (s)he thought it was a Cathedral ... comes to mind.    Songs of Praise from St Pancras.

Realistic Stations to stage events with a considerable number of people are few and far between.  An extra venue for one of The Proms - Waterloo Station for the 1812 overture.   Gilbert and Sullivan night from Penzance.   The world leaders summit from Carbis Bay.  Pointless from Coombe Junction. And surely there's scope for some show at the magnificence of Wemyss Bay.

Tempted to add;

"Jokers Wild, at the station of your choice."

Only  occasionally true.
