Just boarded my first train. 1029 Templecombe to Salisbury. Lovely morning. Finn was warmly welcomed by Anne, the Templecombe Station booking clerk.

Changing at Salisbury. We're still on a two hourly service on weekdays with no off peak through trains between Exeter and Waterloo. A change at Salisbury is required. Then it's on to Basingstoke where I have a 40 odd minute wait. Then Reading. Then Swindon. Then beer in bobm's garden!
