Due to a fault with the signalling system between Bath Spa and Chippenham the line towards Swindon is blocked.

Train services running through these stations may be delayed by up to 15 minutes or diverted between Bristol Temple Meads and Swindon. Bath Spa and Chippenham will not be served. Disruption is expected until 13:00 09/11.

Any customers at Chippenham or Swindon station who require a service towards Exeter St David's can choose to board the 09:40 Swindon-Weymouth service and change at Westbury to connect with the 09:58 London Paddington to Plymouth service that is calling additionally at Westbury today.

I tried to catch this train yesterday, even got to sit on it for a few minutes before the train was taken out of service, this was because the whole of the 'northern side' of the front carriage, including the side windows, was completely covered with an unauthorised silver and yellow paint scheme courtesy of a local graffiti artist, and the driver declared it couldn't be used as he couldn't see out of his cab's side window. We ended up using the stock that arrived in Swindon at about 0955

Shows as 20 late off Swindon at 10:00, 12 late into Weymouth.  I wondered what had happened
