Only vaguely rail related as the pub was near Paddington.
bobm, Finn and I went up to London today for a day out. We had lunch in The Victoria, Paddington, an agreeable Fullers pub. A very dog friendly place where Finn made lots of human friends, including one young couple who took a shine to him. I chatted with said couple about dogs for a good 5 minutes before I realised who the bloke was. I got a socially distanced selfie.
Have a guess...
(Facebook friends are barred from answering, as I've already posted the same picture there!
)
Some actual rail related stuff to follow when I post a trip report later.

I'm going to wade in with a very vague guess, as I dont really have a scooby - Is it Orlando Bloom?

Banksy. If we're allowed a second guess, the Scarlet Pimpernel (as seen on black and white TV▸ ).

Well, if it'd had been a close up of a rivet on a Gresley Pacific, someone here would probably have guessed correctly within the hour! I guess A-list movie stars aren't as easily identified by the rail enthusiasts. Okay, it's been nearly 24 hours so it looks like a clue is needed. A Robert Stephenson invention shares its name with the record company owned by the musician played by the pictured actor in a recent biopic.

I think I might actually know. But only because my son told me (before the clue). I shan't make another guess though, especially as the clue means (I'm afraid) nothing to me.

Indeed.

The clue is that Taron Egerton played Elton John in the recent Biopic, 'Rocketman'. Elton John's record label was called 'The Rocket Record Company.'

I confess I had never heard of him but got BNM?s clue.
That said, we have the perfect actor to play Dominic Cummings when the time comes.
