I see from the summer timetable the first trip on the Gunnislake line which currently runs as far as Calstock only is extended to Gunnislake. Now leaving Plymouth as the 05:10 Plymouth to Gunnislake and returning 05:56 Gunnislake to Plymouth. An improvement to a service that was originally to be axed under the new FGW (First Great Western) timetable...

Also St.Budeaux Ferry Road gets an additional service, the 10:38 Plymouth to Penzance calls there at 10:43. This allows a daytrip from St.Budeaux to Cornwall returning on the 14:50 or 19:05 ex Penzance....

New summer printed timetable books are available now....

Improvment there then. In December most stations didn;t have them until after it started!

Good, that hopefully means they should be appearing online anyday now on FGW (First Great Western)'s website. Arriva Trains Wales and Arriva Cross Country summer timetables are now available for downloading.

I see in the printed timetables 'Coombe' has now been renamed 'Coombe Junction Halt' and 'St.Keyne' is now 'St.Keyne Wishing Well Halt', whatever next.... How about 'St.Austell Historic Sh*te Hole' ?

How about 'St.Austell Historic Sh*te Hole' ?
I must admit that is a pretty good description.

Announcment should say Penzance, feel free to stay on.
For some reason from Camborne station they put signs up for the twon centre, they are useless, no one goes to Camborne for the twon centre.

Ah!  If those signs aren't needed in Camborne, can we have them for Melksham, please?

See http://www.firstgreatwestern.info/coffeeshop/index.php?topic=2267.msg17391#msg17391 for more information!

Don't think it would work, they are bug green on the station road saying:
Camborne Twon Centre 6 Minutes Walk Straigt Forward
Kind of a reminder you got off at the wrong stop.

Do 'vacman' , 'oooooo' and Conner live in Cornwall? If so, why run down the place you live in? If you hate the place so much, why not move?

Yes actually I do, to be fair Penzance, Camborne, Pool and St.Austell are very run down and I would hate to live in them.
