Yes, and I somehow doubt we'll ever see slip coaches again in the UK (United Kingdom) for several thousand safety reasons!  Cheesy

Here's one of those reasons (at the time, anyway) I just came across while looking for something else. The attached clipping comes, for no obvious reason, from the Diss Express, and Norfolk and Suffolk Journal of Friday 26 November 1880.
