It's a while since we had one of these ... traditional quiz with pictures from near and far.

One answer only, please, for each member in the first 24 hours. I will come back and mark later this afternoon

0 - BobM has it for between Melksham and Thingley Junction

1: Wick - TonyN

2. Penzance - Old Original

3: Newport -bassett44

4: Severn Beach - Martyjon

5. Osnabrück Hauptbahnhof High Level - Stuving and eightf48544

6. Taunton - suggested by ellendune and confirmed by AMLAG

I think 0 is one of the foot crossings on the single line between Melksham and Thingley Junction.   Looking at my photos I don't think it is the one just after Dunch Lane bridge so my suggestion is the one near South Brook just before the National Grid site.

5: Osnabrück Hauptbahnhof

(I note that you've found a different picture this time!)

5 High Level?

At long last, I've found what that's called - if only rarely: „obere Personenbahnhof“

The livery of the train on no 1 looks like Scotrail, so I am going to guess Inverness

Just beaten to it but I'm saying Dawlish Warren.

0. Looks very like one of the pics on the MRUG» (Melksham Rail User Group - site) website photo quiz which I saw several times and eventually recognised but without the multiple choice options to prompt me.... I can't remember …… perhaps a footpath behind a large supermarket?

Let's see ...

0 - BobM has it for between Melksham and Thingley, but (sorry Bob) it is the one nearest Dunch Lane, famous for the noise complaint from the folks who moved to a nearby house then realised the trains honked. Relieved none of their neighbours felt the same way.

1. Is neither Frome nor Inverness!

2. Penzance - Old Original

4. Is neither Rhyl nor Dawlish Warren

5. Osnabrück Hauptbahnhof High Level - Stuving and eightf48544

6. Taunton - suggested by ellendune and confirmed by AMLAG
