Thank-you WB. I now realise that it is the type inside of which I cycled on a journey from Oxford to Birmingham NS. The train was packed with people sat down sardine like and filling all the corridors, no chance of finding a seat even if I could have got through the mass of humanity. So I retreated back to this huge full length break van where I had deposited my bicycle and sat the journey out on my own saddle!
