Hardly unexpected given the novelty. They should really do a survey during the first two weeks of February 2022. The novelty value will have worn off; the Christmas and New Year sales should have finished and the tourist season yet to start.

So, to sum it up...  We get a 'new' rail link in England delivered during a pandemic with threats and actual removal of services elsewhere.  Infrastructure works are completed very quickly and to budget.  Trains so far running punctually and reliably and they're nice and busy.  A doubling of frequency coming next year, and the possibility of a Parkway station at Okehampton in the coming years... 

...and still there's negativity...  Wink

William Huskisson MP▸ (Member of Parliament) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: stop, look, listen.

travel disruption.
This was featured on PW▸ (Permanent Way) on Tuesday 10 September,passenger had their journey disrupted after Cheltenham to  London service did not run.
I presume they were advised to travel cross country via Bristol Parkway
The complaint seem to revolve around the wheelchair access on the cross country service from Cheltenham to Bristol Parkway
The item can seen up till approx 6pm on Wednesday 11 September on the cath up thingy

The ramp failed to appear at BPW» (Bristol Parkway - next trains), I believe.
