Guest speakers include:
Former BR (British Rail(ways)) manager and writer on rail matters, Peter Rainer

There will also be "How to succeed" presentations from campaigners, including:

Update ... Two weeks to go and I would love to meet any of you who I know only by your "coffeeshop handle" and old friends to at the conference. It should be a most interesting day!

The "2008 National Rail Users' Conference" is being held this year in Salisbury, on Saturday 5 July 2008. This is an excellent opportunity to hear speakers such as Phil Dominey (Stakeholder relations manager, South West Trains), Peter Rayner (former BR (British Rail(ways)) Manager and writer on Rail Matters and a whole host of others, and to meet a range of other rail users, advocates and campaigners.

The Banqueting Hall, The Guildhall, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP1 1JH Guildhall

10 to 15 minutes walk from Salisbury Station

Doors open 10 a.m., conference starts 10:45, closes appox 17:00

Fee - 10 pounds (member), 12.50 (non-members); buffet lunch available, prebooked, at 10.00 each.

See http://www.railfuture.org.uk/tiki-page.php?pageName=RailFuture
and http://www.railfuture.org.uk/tiki-index.php?page=Rail+users+conference

As a local member of RailFuture, I have been roped in to do the bookings ... which will remain open until the end of June.  There are links to paper forms on the above pages, email me, or book via http://www.wellho.net/railfuture .
