Not sure I've seen "full and standing" half a day ahead before ... though I'm sure it will be a correct forecast for (??) some or all of the route.

That’s the GWR^▸ (Great Western Railway) service which calls at Winnersh to pick up schoolchildren so from experience I expect it will be busy!

A good idea to give people a heads-up when it's known in advance a service will be ram packed.

A train you can't get on might as well be a cancelled train - in fact it's worse because it may be too late to change plans.  When is this going to be added to the valid reasons for claiming delay repay?

GWR^▸ (Great Western Railway)'s sister company SWR^» (South Western Railway - about) has this on their Delay Repay claim form

Please note, in order for an overcrowding claim to be processed, when prompted to choose a delay reason you must select "Decline to give a reason".

I've not noticed it before and I wonder if it's just for the duration of the RMT^▸ (National Union of Rail, Maritime & Transport Workers) strike.

Naive query from passenger on this line for 18+years, and who traveled back from his office party on an almost empty 3 car turbo late that evening - how come someone could not have ensured that a 3 car unit was not rostered  for this service, especially bearing in mind that it was going to be even more busy with the SWR^» (South Western Railway - about) strike?
