I think Pudding Mill Lane Station is on the Docklands Light Railway, not the Underground.

All TfL^» (Transport for London - about)'s stations do look very similar, until you see the colour of their roundels. But it is DLR^▸ (Docklands Light Railway) - though it was the road outside it that got flooded. The tracks for DLR, GE main line, and Crossrail are all together and go over the Pudding Mill River (and the Northern Outlfall Sewer) on bridges. I don't think the water rose that far! And note that the Crossrail eastern portal is up at overbridge level - I think it's there for a reason.

It was only the open concourse area under the tracks; if you can find a picture from a different angle, the water is only a couple of inches high.

I hope the nearby  Crossrail Feeder Station is sited high enough up!

1O99 - the 06:58 from New Street to Ramsgate calls at 10:27
1S86 - the return trip to Edinburgh Waverley (21:35 arrival) calls there at 11:38

Absolutely wonderful site IS76.com. And excellent piece of work charting the times of Intercity services to and from the Southeast. I throughly enjoyed going through it a few years back wishing I’d traveled on some of these train services that no longer exist. Well worth a read.

Takes me back to the late 80s. My first serious track bash in Sussex and Kent. Oxford to Brighton on the Manchester Brighton. Then to Lewes, change for Eastbourne and Hastings on slam door EMUs^▸ (Electric Multiple Unit). Hastings to Ashford on a Thumper and another EMU to Folkestone Central. Then back to Oxford on the Folketone Manchester via Dover, Canterbury and the Catford loop due to Penge tunnel being closed for its major refurb before Eurostar.

Later I used the Dover western docks train from Oxford. Sadly I alighted at Dover Priory and never went to Western docks.
Also used the Ramsgate train when hauled by Deltic D9000.
