Draycott?
I can see where you're coming from ... but the link only relates to our native squirrel and not his north American cousin

Redditch? Always was on a single-track line.

Yes, Redditch ... I'm pretty sure there would always have been a loop if not double to the north, but went single to the south.

Yes, Redditch ... I'm pretty sure there would always have been a loop if not double to the north, but went single to the south. Well, since there were two platforms I don't suppose either line through the station was properly a loop. There was more than one track north through the (railway and other) works section, though it's hard to say how many were running lines. Apart from that it was all single from Barnt green down to Evesham, then double south to Ashchurch - according to he very informative Redditch Model Railway Club site. Where was the picture taken from? The only footbridge was right by the road bridge at the north end, with the platform ends almost underneath it. So presumably it was taken by standing on the tender (or perhaps the carriage/wagon behind) - but if so why?

Interesting, the use of B&W makes the above Station look to be perhaps further back in time than is the case ?...

Yes, that Edwardian matrix display looks older in that shot. Can't place the station, though it looks vaguely familiar. Somewhere on the Old Worse and Worse?

Wide platform in the foreground suggests 4 track with main line platforms fenced off. Taplow?

And that - plus the careful cropping - makes it less obvious that the picture was lifted off Wikipedia...but the truth will out!

Looks like a Piccadilly line station to me with my limited knowledge of the London Underground.
