That door hinge on the left edge looks current GWR▸ green.
The T-bar handle coupled with that exterior hinge type suggests Mk1 carriage or 1st generation DMU▸ .

I thought that but I've been there and none of the stations quite match the photo. Double checked with online shots. It looks like a new built platform rather than a restored heritage one.

That ID looks like SWT▸ to me - same red/yellow corner flash. Not that that helps me, but ...

Some very interesting ideas ... some with elements that I would agree with, but no correct location. I'll be back in the morning ... falling asleep now as we're being rocked to sleep on the swell set up by the hurricane ; that's hundreds of miles from us but the restaurant was very quiet indeed tonight.

With tongue in cheek, Pilning before it was gone. As the tongue is in the cheek, you know it isn't ... Pilning is not the only place where the "oops, there's no access to [that/the] platform" situation has arisen, to the detriment of practical use of the station.

But the next station up the line has received some improvments so could it be P-P-P-P-P-P-P-Patchway.

I know that Teesside Airport station has received the same treatment as Pilning so I will go for that for the latter picture.

Yes indeed - it's Teeside Airport. Same treatment as Pilning - except that there's no excuse of electrification; simply that the bridge has fallen into disrepair ... (or have safety standards changed??)

Solution - Witton-le-Wear on the Weardale railway - a newly reconstructed station on a heritage railway (taken from a bubble car). and new for today
