As a follow up to yesterday's AGM▸ ... the return of the random image on the top right of all the pages. As ever with something like this, the hard work in is selecting, cropping, compressing images ... as a quick fix I have uploaded a wide selection that I've taken within the last three months without too much filtering - here's selection of them. BrunOWL considers how things have changed - http://www.passenger.chat/ntr/21.50.35.pngBingley - where road, rail and canal share a valley - http://www.passenger.chat/ntr/21.35.15.pngRailFuture - Campaigner of the year award to East Midlands branch chair - http://www.passenger.chat/ntr/21.48.50.pngGood quiz picture (1) - http://www.passenger.chat/ntr/21.48.11.pngNear the end of full length GWR▸ HSTs▸ - but where? - http://www.passenger.chat/ntr/21.59.14.pngScene in Bristol - but can only be seen 2 or 3 days a year - http://www.passenger.chat/ntr/21.57.13.pngBattle of Brittan, Civil war and 2nd World War - http://www.passenger.chat/ntr/22.00.45.pngSomehere to go by public transport - http://www.passenger.chat/ntr/21.56.15.pngHow does this work? - http://www.passenger.chat/ntr/21.26.35.pngPicture quiz (2) - http://www.passenger.chat/ntr/21.37.17.pngOwl about this? - http://www.passenger.chat/ntr/21.52.49.pngPicture quiz (3) - http://www.passenger.chat/ntr/22.09.37.pngThree of them are a sort of "where's this?" quiz - but members are welcome / encouraged to look through other too, of course. If you see an interesting image come up on the top right of a page, click on it to open it full size in another tab. You can then grab its URL from your browser's URL bar and talk about it here (or elsewhere), sharing its URL so others know what you're talking about! As soon as I posted that - guess what my random image was ... http://www.passenger.chat/ntr/21.46.38.png

I'm going to guess that the one where the station sign says 'Castle Cary' is, um...

Taunton? 😐 Ah yes, they're probably still trying to confuse invading parachutists down there...

( 1 ) Indeed - Castle Cary ( 2 ) Yet to be identified ( 3 ) Swindon Bus Station ( 4 ) Yes, Taunton
For once (!) it's the one I thought would be hardest has actually been the only one left outstanding.

Go to the top of the board you want to post in (you can get to any from the forum home page at http://www.firstgreatwestern.info ) and when you're on that board you'll find a "new topic" button at the top right of the table of subjects already there.

Number 3 is the delight that is Swindon bus station! This got me thinking, does anyone know of a bus station that they actually like, for whatever reason? Don't answer here. I'll open a new thread on the "Lighter Side" but mods are welcome to move it elsewhere if they think it appropriate.

Jammo, jammo, 'ncoppa jammo ja', jammo, jammo, 'ncoppa jammo ja'. (Any scholars of Neopolitan out there to finish the chorus?)
