Schoolchildren: They can get a special season ticket so they don't need to buy tickets each day. Though possibly not all schools which children might use the Beach line to get to do this.

Revenue protection on the 13.33 from Redland to Temple Meads today was pretty on the ball with at least two ticket issuers on the service.
The 17.13 return service was a little different as it seemed as if GWR (Great Western Railway) had put on an impromptu "Historic Overcrowding" event with a 2 car 150 rammed with rush hour commuters, just like in the past. There really wasn't room from revenue protection staff to be able to move much until Redland or most likely, Clifton.
