Well, that didn't take long! Correct. Anyone care to guess where precisely we were on the West Somerset Railway in the second picture? I'll post a trip report tomorrow with more pictures from what was a grand day out. |

T'was a grand day out - and some brilliant weather. Bignosemac (here modelling as bigearmac) took the opportunity to try out his new phone with some impressive results - and without the need for heavy camera bags.  Finn was spoilt rotten in the pub at lunch time. I also noticed that while dogsitting as his owner was making a find in a secondhand shop that having a canine companion means complete strangers come up to talk not to you but the dog! Here he is after posing for the earlier photo  |

Actually a bit further up the line, between Washford and Blue Anchor. If you look carefully you can just make out the Washford transmitters in the distance. |

Journey's beginning.  Lovely shiny smoke box door and chimney. 7828 Odney Manor Finn posing on the 'e' in Minehead.  Need a longer finger board!  Where's the Gentlemans Room?  Admiring the view from the end of Watchet harbour wall.  And back to Hops Lydeard.  |

To add to the above. If anyone's ever in Watchet I can highly recommend The Star Inn. Excellent food, and very friendly attentive staff. Particularly if you have a dog with you.
