06:00 Exeter St Davids to Bristol Temple Meads due 07:42

This train is running and is now 59 minutes late. This train has been revised. It will no longer call at: Tiverton Parkway, Taunton, Bridgwater, Highbridge & Burnham, Weston-Super-Mare, Weston Milton, Worle, Yatton, Nailsea & Backwell, Parson Street and Bedminster. This is due to a member of train crew being unavailable.

That "59" seems very precise - any reason that it's just less than an hour?

What proportion of the passengers that this service is INTENDED to serve will ACTUALLY be served?  i.e. what proportion of the traffic normnally carried by this train is through journeys from Exeter St David's to Bristol Temple Meads?

0% I would suggest, as anyone wishing to travel from Exeter to BTM (Bristol Temple Meads (strictly, it should be BRI) but BTM is a commonly used alternative)) will use a Cross Country service rather than one stopping at 11 stations.

I expect it only ran so that the unit was correctly placed for next working.

I do wonder what the next working was though - there were no delays on GW» (Great Western - used as an abbreviation for the area / lines under the Great Western franchise, as opposed to FGW which includes "First", the company operating them too. For tickets - about) services starting from Temple Meads!

Dunno what the next working at BTM (Bristol Temple Meads (strictly, it should be BRI) but BTM is a commonly used alternative)) was, but I can tell you the allocated unit was 150127 so perhaps someone else can tell us. I believe the train crew that bring up the 06.00 from Exeter then do a BTM  - Cardiff and return.
