Were there problems with the 17:52 Paddington to Worcester Shrub Hill service yesterday?

Realtime trains says it only got as far as Ladbroke Grove and then suggests it headed back towards Paddington (1 late at Ladbroke Grove, 41 late at Portobello Junction, 44 late at Royal Oak Junction etc).

I appreciate Realtime trains isn't always foolproof but the GWR^▸ (Great Western Railway) Twitter feed also hints that there were problems with a broken down train yesterday evening.

I'm not sure if anyone actually answered this. It did indeed break down. I was supposed to catch it at Oxford. It was an IET^▸ (Intercity Express Train). the following 1822 HST^▸ (High Speed Train) did not break down, as the staff at Oxford put it, so the delay wasn't too bad.
