For the record, the 13:32 Westbury to Swindon and the 14:36 Swindon to Westbury services were cancelled as well

This has also affected services between Bath and Swindon with a number of London-Bristol-London services diverted via Badminton between Bristol and Swindon: Due to a fault with the signalling system between Bath Spa and Swindon trains have to run at reduced speed on all lines.
Train services running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or diverted. Disruption is expected until 16:00 20/07.

Sad to report the rest of the day’s service via Melksham have now been cancelled or diverted: Cancellations to services between Melksham and Chippenham
Due to a fault with the signalling system between Melksham and Chippenham the line is blocked.
Train services running through these stations will be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or diverted between Chippenham and Trowbridge. Melksham will not be served. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Customer Advice
Replacement road transport is runing between Chippenham and Melksham in both directions, and between Melksham and Trowbridge in both directions. The following currently shown as cancelled with the others being diverted: 14:36 Swindon to Westbury due 15:20
16:32 Westbury to Swindon due 17:22
17:36 Swindon to Westbury due 18:20
18:32 Westbury to Swindon due 19:22
19:36 Swindon to Westbury due 20:20 |

All of the other services are out and back workings from Westbury and have been cancelled.  |

If you are travelling from an unstaffed station please use the Customer Help Point or contact National Rail Enquiries on 03457 484 950 detailing the total number of passengers in your party and your intended destination. This will enable us to get suitable replacement transport to you as quickly as possible. |
