If you're Bristol based ... this is one to note in your diary.  Planning is underway for something special on the afternoon of Saturday 16th February 2019.  I'll come back to tell you what and where, and you'll then probably guess why. You will learn whoo on the day.

Edit ... sadly, removed from calendar ...

I am delighted to hear that you have persuaded Mr Hopwood to be 'Meet the Manager' at Temple Meads on that day.

It's the nearest Saturday to Valentine's Day, so I'm expecting roses, chocolates, champagne, serenades and a declaration of everlasting love.

Is it a new direct service between the two most popular stations in photos on this forum?

1430 MKM» (Melksham (Station code) - next trains)-TAU» (Taunton - next trains) 1530 SaO. Operated by HST (High Speed Train).

Is it a gold plated gangers trolley with an Ellis  nameplate running from Melksham for when the replacement bus doesn't turn up. Mr Ellis drives one half you drive the other.
