I feel for the good folk of Dawlish and Teignmouth.

Gatwick Flyaway tickets from EXD» (Exeter St Davids - next trains), NTA» (Newton Abbott - next trains) and TOT cost £155. However, the same from DWL and TGM cost £170. Thankfully, ticket office staff are aware of this, but if you buy online - be warned!

Checking on Gatwick Flyaway tickets for upcoming requirements, I find comment to suggest they were withdrawn at the beginning of this year.  Can members confirm?

These tickets allowe(d) up to four adults to travel to Gatwick, and back (within a month) and are/were valid any time. Advance tickets are not really an option for people arriving in the UK (United Kingdom) by air, as they won't be honoured if you plane gets in late or you take much longer than expected to clear customs and immigration.

In a similar vein (though out of our area) Gatwick Flyer, which provided a road service from Essex and North Kent to Gatwick Airport has ceased trading, with customers who are booked advised to make alternative arrangements, and those prepaid by credit card advised to claim back from their card company.  Data from https://www.gatwickflyer.co.uk ; the absence of press coverage rather suggests that the numbers effected are not high.  Website behind the "we have gone" page still available so you can navigate what you missed - start (example) at https://www.gatwickflyer.co.uk/intermediate .

Gatwick Flyaway was discontinued in January.

Their limited replacement was an Anytime Return (GOR) which supposedly allowed Groupsave at any time, although online sales didn't seem to cope with this concept. Also available for limited stations, eg not west of Didcot or Newbury.
