Between Christmas and New Year - replace server software

January - post and discuss future direction and constitution (though much of that is in informally in various threads I will link to from here)

We will also learn in the New Year how the CCIF (Customer and Communities Improvement Fund) bid went.

9th February - In Real Life Meeting, plan is the Westbury.  The place near the station that is a natural was being refurbished when I dropped in a couple of weeks ago with just fitters on site; WWRUG» (West Wiltshire Rail Users Group - about) meet there this Thursday so I'll have a look / see and have a word then.    Failing Westbury, alternative on same day in Trowbridge.

Following stuff - how much we can do depends on what members want and the 2019/20 development funding position.  We have a number of offers of support for Community Rail in the City as a significant opportunity in May, and other ideas to follow up on.

Software updates through the summer - depending on time and direction, see how we do.   Wider data feeds, better linkage to other social media,  etc ...

I will make this a sticky thread, come back and edit the above as things develop / become clearer.   Also add a post of links to earlier discussion on this topic which even I find hard to find at times, so goodness knows what it's like for occasional visitors to the site!.

You can find out more about how this forum works [here] - that will link you to a copy of the forum agreement that you can read before you join, and tell you very much more about how we operate. We are an independent forum, provided and run by customers of Great Western Railway, for customers of Great Western Railway and we welcome railway professionals as members too, in either a personal or official capacity. As well as posting messages onto existing threads, and starting new subjects, members can communicate with each other through personal messages if they wish. And once members have made a certain number of posts, they will automatically be admitted to the "frequent posters club", where subjects not-for-public-domain are discussed; anything from the occasional rant to meetups we may be having ...
