Close ... but you would probably have cause a tram to get to this location if you were between Peckham Rye and the Embankment. Turning left from Grove Vale into East Dulwich Road. |

1. Southern Rly O2, photo taken between 1932 and 1945. Headcode may suggest somewhere near Southampton, along with the bridge in the background. The Southampton Dock to Brockenhurst was one route for the headcode. There were a number of others but only Exeter to Ilfracombe might tie in with the river behind.

Railway, loco, I agree. None of those routes though - somewhere between the places you mention. |

Yes, that seems to be the one, before the new bridge was built.
The correct headcode for this line was one disc, right smokebox, during the period from 1934.

Yes - it is Seaton; included because John M was a tram driver on the Seaton Tramway for many years. |
