Train disabled at Pinhoe after hitting road signs placed on track - 01 Aug 18

Train services have been badly disrupted on the Exeter-Waterloo line after signs and other objects were placed on the line at Pinhoe.

There has been a couple of similar incidents near Chard Junction and Seaton Junction too. In those cases the trains were able to stop short of the obstructions. Don't think they made the news.

There was also a similar attempt a few days ago near Feniton which was picked up before anything happened.

Unfortunately, the affected train was not due to stop at Pinhoe, so would have been at line speed (70mph).

Trains eventually on the move at 18:20 and one other trapped train allowed through, but the line is still closed whilst BTP complete their investigations

Hopefully the chav's doing this are caught before they cause a serious accident, to be honest if they lose a leg or an arm by getting run over by a train i don't care, will teach the stupid idiots a lesson.
